My daughter has a tiny white speck in her eye...?

This morning she woke up complaining about the sun being too bright and her eye itching. For a min I thought she had pink eye, but then I saw a little white speck. I tried to flush it out and its still there in that same spot. She said she didn't hurt her eye in any way. It bothers her then it doesn't. I don't know what to do. Should I take her to the doctors?? Does anyone know what it could be??
