Can Dust Get Behind your laptop screen?

All of a sudden i was wiping my laptop screen with a cotton tshirt with a little alcohol on it and i noticed a little black speck on the top and when i move my head around and everything seeing it in the different ways you know on a lcd screen. lol. it changes kinda white. Is it possible some dust or dirt got behind my screen or something and can i clean behind the screen?? Thanks
