What is with the REverse STO/Jumping Reverse STO?

Everyone uses that move. Currently there are wrestlers using it as finishers at the same time. MVP, R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler used it, Mr, Kennedy, Scott Steiner, Shelton Benjamin. It's kind-of like back when everyone had the DDT as a finisher.
