Why did we stop using DDT to control malaria to stop 1/2 million African children from dying each year?

Liberals engage in what is called 'one step thinking' meaning that DDT causes bird eggs to crack therefore DDT must be banned. A liberal will never go on to step two which is, in this case, millions of people dying of malaria.
